Colour Masterbatches Composition
Base Resins: Includes ABS/PE/PP/PS/PVC, PET/PA/PBT, TPE/TPR/EVA, etc.
Pigments: Both organic and inorganic pigments are used, such as TiO2, carbon black, etc.
Additives: Such as PE wax, antioxidants, zinc stabilizers (ZnSt), etc.
Colour Masterbatch Classification
1. By Carrier: Special Color Masterbatch: Produced by selecting the same plastic as the carrier, specified by user requirements for the product, e.g., PP color masterbatch uses PP as a carrier.
Universal Color Masterbatch: Uses a certain resin (often low-melting PE) as a carrier but can be applied to other resins besides its carrier resin.
2. By Application:
Injection Masterbatch: Used in advanced injection applications like cosmetic packaging, toys, electrical casings, etc.
Ordinary Injection Masterbatch: For general daily plastic products, industrial containers, etc.
Blow Molding Masterbatch: For blow molding coloring of ultra-thin products.
Ordinary Blow Molding Masterbatch: For general packaging bags and woven sacks blow molding coloring.
Spinning Masterbatch: For spinning and coloring of textile fibers with fine particles, high concentration, strong coloring strength, good heat and light resistance.
Low-grade Color Masterbatch: Manufactures low-quality products that do not require high color quality, such as trash cans, low-grade containers, etc.
3. Other Classifications:
Mono Color Masterbatch or SPC: Polymer compounding with a single pigment, mostly without wax and additives.
Tailor-Made Masterbatch or Custom Coloring: Mixing different mono color masterbatch pellets to achieve the desired color by the customer.
Customized Masterbatch: A mixture of polymer with several pigments and additives.
