1. The extrusion of PET sheet directly adopts a combination of parallel, co-rotating twin screws and a Roots vacuum pump for forced vacuum degassing, replacing the traditional single screw paired with crystallization drying equipment. This setup offers high output and low energy consumption, making it suitable for the production and processing of recycled PET bottle flakes.
2. The screw is designed with a building block structure, allowing for adjustments to the screw assembly according to different materials. This flexibility enables the same equipment to process not only PLA/PBAT biodegradable materials and starch-based degradable materials into sheet extrusions but also to produce PET sheet extrusions.
3. The large opening vacuum cylinder combined with a two-stage Roots vacuum pump can achieve an ultimate vacuum degree of 10Pa, maximizing moisture removal and preventing melt degradation.
4. A melt gear pump is applied between the extruder and the T-die. It stabilizes the extrusion pressure, ensuring uniform thickness of the extruded sheet. The pressure sensor after the pump uses a high-precision imported sensor, aiding in the realization of closed-loop control for the equipment.
5. The equipment utilizes a PLC system to achieve fully automated operation and parameter setting controls throughout the line.

This upgrade allows the vacuum level to reach ≤10Pa. Additionally, the use of a special alloy steel thin-walled roller set significantly enhances cooling efficiency, thereby increasing output, product toughness, and transparency. Granuwel’s independently programmed operating system ensures a user-friendly and easy-to-operate device.

PLA (Polylactic Acid) Eco-Degradable Sheet Extrusion Production Line
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a novel, bio-based, renewable biodegradable material made from starch raw materials derived from renewable plant resources such as corn and cassava. The production process of polylactic acid is pollution-free, and the product can be biodegraded in nature to achieve recycling, making it an ideal green polymer material. Polylactic acid possesses good thermal stability with a processing temperature of 170~230°C and excellent solvent resistance. Besides being biodegradable, products made from polylactic acid also feature biocompatibility, high gloss, good transparency, pleasant touch, and heat resistance. It exhibits good antimicrobial, flame-retardant, and UV resistance properties, thus finding widespread applications. It can be used for hard packaging of fruits, vegetables, eggs, cooked food, and baked goods, as well as packaging for sandwiches, biscuits, flowers, and more.
